Some good advice on women

My friend and I were talking about understanding women and she had this to say:

"Seek not to understand, only accept. Women don't even know what they want, this "mystery" that men are trying to solve is actually quite simple. Women are generally an unsatisfied lot who spends their time over analyzing everything.  Don't fall into the trap.  Keep it simple, it's what men do best. Be calm and patient and consistent (not matter how much she is the opposite). But don't walk on eggshells for anyone, it's not worth it. And don't be afraid to point out a woman's bullshit, we know we're crazy and we're trying to contain it (the older ones are, anyway) Hearing that we're irrational helps us to back down to earth. but be gentle, women are both volatile and delicate."  -Dawn

Good stuff good stuff. ^.^

Parasite Cleansing time!!!

Wellll... It's been about a year since my last parasite cleanse, time to do another!!

I'm going to try a new product, Colonix. It has the same ingredients of the Paraway Pack I usually use and there is a good discount if you buy a 3 month treatment. I normally do a 1 month regime, but I've been feeling the need to do a super mondo cleanse after watching "Monsters Inside Me" on Animal Planet every Wednesday at 9pm. ;P

And here's a video that finally convinced me, retrieved from this site (not for the squeamish):

UPDATE: I decided on Ultimate Colon Cleanse because they include a free probiotic in each pack, plus they don't charge you for 30 days while you try it out!!!

30 Day Free Trial  I just ordered 3 packages using a off coupon: 10OFFUCC

The total was about $160 and won't be billed for 30 days or ever if the product doesn't work (or I say it doesn't).... Muhahahahahaha!!!  ...but it should. ;}

I like to save things....
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Yes, it's a synthetic turf made from recycled plastics... You do /not/ want to fall and slide on that stuff!!!

http://www.ocregister.com/articles/.....onmental-crumb

I, for one, is opposed to synthetic turf. We need more plants in this world, not chemical releasing compounds. Sure it may save water, but another reason we have the stuff is to absorb CO2....the ocean can only absorb soo much until the Ph is affected...and no one wants to swim in an acidic ocean! ...not even our marine life or plankton...which produce clouds and rain: http://www.nasa.gov/vision/earth/en.....ktoncloud.html

Just say no to synthetic turf..

The problem with Live Journal is that we all think we are so close, but really, we know nothing about each other. Hence, I want you to ask me something you think you should know about me. Something that should be obvious, but you have no idea about. Then post this in your LJ and find out what people don’t know about you.

Ask, I'm ready!

Word of the Day 2 week recap!

  • Jun. 15th, 2009 at 9:19 AM
Vocal Boy

I missed a week, soooo lets see if I can cram them all in. Here goes:

"When I espy that special someone, nothing is going to stop me from the cosseting that's in store for her. My hortatory behavior would disport the feelings deep within my heart as well as the oneiric thoughts running through my mind. I doubt the pothering I made in the past should arise and I would take on an abstemious stance if lust ever overcame rational behavior. I have always believed the mores surrounding relationships are to be cherished and that sex would be the final averment.

Moving on, I have learned that tergiversation should never be part of a relationship and a paragon of honesty is certainly a must. I say this because once trust has been severed, there is little chance to redivivus the past, not even through prestidigitation. So heed my words, you can prevent unnecessary megrims by projecting a pure effulgence when playing the game of love."

Gah! I think it all makes sense..... ;P

Weekend Advice

What I heard this weekend:

"If you have an attraction toward a person and that person has a mutual attraction to you, back off a little, and let it grow naturally." And, "If you do have an attraction toward someone, let them know, and if at that point the other person is not interested, move on."

This dude was talking to his roommate and I overheard while I was waking up Saturday morning. Good timing by gar.

Holy cow, I had a Crepe Suzette over the weekend too! *droooool*

...I need to make a Bishop photo post......

Word of the Day retention scramble bonanza!

I've been receiving some awesome "Word[s] of the Day", but I find I have not been using a single one. So, to have my brain retain, I'm making something out of the accumulation of words each week. Here goes:

"Being taciturn by nature, it was an even greater challenge to talk to females. When love struck me, I venerated her because she wasn't just another sybarite focused on petty wealth, but a sagacious woman devoted to knowledge and wisdom. I do admit, a stearn fillip to my senses was needed to keep my obsessed, pejorative e-mails from undoing a wonderful relationship. I have thus realized, that the depredations of uncontrolled thought or emotions toward another person can be quite troublesome, sometimes leading to unwanted depression or avoirdupois."

Hee! This is quite fun! :D

------------

Interesting.... Some old guy just came in my office and told me, "The secret to life, is to live it....live life." An old man told this to him 55 years ago when he was about my age...

I think I am on the right path, living life and trying out everything. :}

Have you ever tried to change yourself for someone you were in a relationship with (or wanted to be in a relationship with)? Did it work?

Oh god yes....and it did not work...I've learned to be myself and love will unveil if it is there.

On the other hand, I made some great steps to improving myself, and I am thankful. :}

Bishop post...not!

I am still gathering photos from this last trip to Bishop, it was awesome! I will post the photos later along with some detail.

-------

In other news, I went to my first concert at the Palladium Tuesday night, and saw The Decemberists! It was quite thrilling!

I went backstage and talked to the lead singer/songwriter, Colin. He was cool until I told him that I snuck back there...hehe. ;P Met John, the drummer, he is a very decent fellow, and I love his personality! But, the main reason for going back there was in search of Jesse. He is the lead singer/songwriter of "Other Lives", we were talking after his opening performance, and I wanted to chill a bit with him backstage. But after Colin realized I shouldn't have been there, he left, and shortly thereafter, security came up to escort me out... But ha! I was making my way down the stairs anyway! Boo ya Colin! ;D

I do have to say, the Palladium has shoddy accommodations for the bands that play there. I can remember a small room with ugly painted walls and a mountain of cauliflower on the snack table... But anyway, I had a lot of fun and met some awesome women. Most of them reminded me of V-dawg. Go figure...haha!

Next up is the Key Club, I won 2 free tickets to see "Leerone" perform along with "VAST" this Friday! :}

Here, have some funny:

Triathlon
Well, Lake Arrowhead Triathlon is canceled this year due to the economy... :( I was really looking forward to this one..it was only $65 bucks and up in the awesome mountains... phooey! The Xterra tri is canceled too...sorry Haski...

But, Catalina is still rocking in November: http://www.pacificsportsllc.com/CatalinaTriathlon/athlete9.htm . The only problem with this Tri is the cost...$120 to register, $25 to ferry across, and a hotel stay on the island Friday night ($100+). D:

There's a Long Beach Tri, but the way I swallow water, I might get a candy wrapper stuck in my throat. ;P

I have until October to register for Catalina, by then, money will be saved up. :}
